  The DORSA team met in Bonn, to continue with digitisation of the Museum Koenig Orthoptera collection, and actualisation of the DORSA web site. All data are now accessible through SYSTAX.
  
  
• 1st July 2004
  Christian Dietrich (Ulm University) finished his thesis "Temporal Sensorfusion for the Classification of Bioacoustic Time Series", based on DORSA cricket sound data. The online version is now available for download
  
  
• Teaming up
  From 9th to 13th of October 2003, Piotr Naskrecki and Scott Brandes from Conservation International met the DORSA group, to discuss possibilities to use DORSA neural network cricket classification tools for the TEAM initiative (Tropical Ecology, Assessment & Monitoring). Bioacoustic monitoring is one of the protocols used for monitoring by TEAM.
